The Woods 2027

Nestled along the picturesque North Coast, Tehidy Woods Run offers runners an immersive and scenic experience through its lush trails and wooded paths. Participants can choose from four different durations: Rowan (3 hours), Ash (6 hours), Beech (9 hours), and Oak (12 hours). Each duration allows for multiple laps around a 4-mile loop within the serene Tehidy Woods, providing ample opportunity to explore the natural beauty of the area while pushing personal limits.
For those interested in additional support, you can contact organizers directly to inquire about renting specialized gear such as waterproof coats. Detailed information and updates on event logistics are available on the official website at www.bysvykenevents.com.
Registration fees for Tehidy Woods Run come with a flexible policy: refunds up to four weeks before the start date and deferrals up to two weeks prior, but deferred entries cannot be refunded in subsequent races.
Participants should note that running through trails like these requires proper preparation and awareness of potential hazards. It is essential to ensure you are medically fit, well-trained, and equipped for this event. Race officials reserve the right to make final decisions on race day regarding safety measures.
Support crews are welcome but no support runners will be permitted along the course itself. By participating, entrants agree to assume all risks associated with the run, including weather conditions, terrain challenges, and interactions with wildlife or other participants. All such risks must be acknowledged and understood prior to entry. Participants under 18 years of age require parental consent.
Event organizers provide a comprehensive disclaimer that covers participation in Tehidy Woods Run. By signing up, entrants agree to waive all claims against Bys Vyken Events, sponsors, officials, or marshals for any injuries sustained during the event. Additionally, participants grant permission for their images and recordings from this race to be used by organizers.
In case of severe weather conditions as indicated by The Met Office's Amber or Red warnings, the race may need to be postponed or held virtually. Updates on rescheduling will be communicated promptly should such circumstances arise.
