The Trident Trail Races

Experience the 10th Anniversary of Trident Trail Races, set against the backdrop of Jupiter Ridge Natural Area's ancient sand dunes, on July 24-25, 2027. This iconic race challenges runners with a variety of distances and formats, from the OG Noon Half Marathon to the grueling Ciento Dos 102 miler. The Nooner half marathon, affectionately known as "the Horrible Half," starts at high noon on Saturday, inviting participants to conquer over 13 miles through soft sand dunes with a strict four-hour cutoff. For those seeking an extreme endurance test, the Ciento Dos offers a staggering 36 hours to complete nearly 102 miles across 31 loops of relentless terrain and heat.
Jupiter Ridge Natural Area's unique landscape features pristine white sand and dense coastal scrub vegetation, making every step through these ancient dunes both challenging and unforgettable. The course is an out-and-back loop with significant elevation gain—over 1,200 feet in the half marathon alone—making it one of Florida’s toughest trail races.
In addition to the Nooner Half Marathon, runners can choose from a range of events including XTethered (a physically linked duo challenge), Immolation (both day and night versions), Twilight Trident (an evening run through cooler temperatures), and the Hella Heavy 10k. Each event offers its own unique twist on the classic race format, ensuring there's an option for every level of runner.
Prepare to embrace the heat and humidity as you traverse Jupiter Ridge’s iconic sand dunes, a venue that has become synonymous with endurance racing in Florida. Join the community of runners from across North America and Europe who have made Trident Trail Races a must-do event on their summer race calendars.
