With space limited to only 300 riders, this race is a coveted opportunity for cyclists eager to explore some of Arizona's most stunning backcountry trails. Participants will traverse through Prescott National Forest and beyond, encountering challenging terrain that tests both endurance and skill. Each day brings new routes, scenic vistas, and the chance to soak in the legendary atmosphere that has made Prescott a hub of adventure and history. The race offers two distance options: The Cavalry for those seeking the full epic journey, and The Scout for riders looking to tackle less mileage while still embracing the same spirit of resilience. Both courses are professionally mapped, marked with clear signage, and supported throughout by dedicated course ambassadors and medical teams ensuring rider safety. Each evening concludes in historic downtown Prescott where social gatherings allow participants to unwind and celebrate daily achievements at award ceremonies. These events highlight individual prowess through stage awards across various age and gender categories including Young Guns (ages 16-49), Women's Regiment, Men’s Regiment, Non-Binary, and the Old Guard (age 50+).
