April 10, 2027 marks the annual celebration of National Sibling Day with The Annual Mercy Run at Josey Ranch Athletic Complex. This heartfelt event honors children who have passed away and their surviving siblings by inviting participants to run or walk energizing loops around a scenic course. The race is more than just a physical challenge; it's an emotional journey for families and communities coming together to support one another during difficult times. The Mercy Run, organized by TeamMercy.org, a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, raises funds to provide age-appropriate Grief Packets and the Mercies Gift program, which offers healing resources to siblings affected by the loss of a brother or sister. Participants can join in either a 5k run/walk, a 10k challenge, or enjoy a fun run at their own pace. The event welcomes everyone from serious runners to casual walkers who want to participate in this meaningful occasion. Whether you're sprinting ahead or taking it slow and steady with family members of all ages, the Mercy Run offers an inclusive experience that celebrates life and honors those we've lost. Join us on April 10th for a day filled with community spirit, heartfelt moments, and mutual support as we remember and celebrate the enduring bond between siblings. Sign up today to be part of this inspiring event and make a difference in the lives of children who need your help most. The Whitfield Siblings - Grace, Righteous, Justice, and Mercy
