The Great Divide Ultra

Experience the breathtaking beauty of Colorado's Great Divide Ultras, held over a weekend in Mueller State Park. This year’s edition on June 5-6, 2027, offers four challenging distances: 100 miles, 100 kilometers, 50 kilometers, and a new addition—the Dark Divide Night Run. The event has sold out for three consecutive years due to its stunning course through spring-fed meadows and granite rock formations.
Runners will traverse the park’s rolling single-track trails that wind through lush landscapes under the glow of a Colorado sunset on Saturday evening. Starting at 8:00 PM, the Dark Divide Night Run allows participants to experience running alongside the longer distance competitors as they venture into the night. The scenic route offers sweeping views and an unforgettable challenge for trail runners looking to test their endurance in a unique setting.
All 50k and 25k (excluding Dark Divide) runners must park at John Wesley Ranch, with shuttles providing transport to the start line—a mere six-minute ride away. This ensures that all participants can focus on enjoying the pristine trails without worrying about logistics once they arrive. Join us for an unforgettable weekend of trail running amidst some of Colorado’s most spectacular mountain scenery.
