Join us for the seventh day of our 10-day series, an inclusive and welcoming event designed for runners and walkers alike. Whether you're participating just this once or planning to complete all ten days, everyone is welcome at these events. Date & Time: April 1st, 2027 Start Time: 8:30 AM The race takes place in the picturesque setting of The Last Hop, located on Clarence Street in Staines. Members receive special benefits including discounted entry and a mini-me medal pin for each event attended. This is a timed challenge event with no set distance; participants can run as much or as little as they like within a 7-hour window. The minimum requirement to qualify as an official finisher is completing 3 kilometers, which counts towards your total time. A full lap measures either 4.37 miles (7km) or might be adjusted slightly based on course conditions. The route winds along the River Thames, featuring well-maintained paths and tarmac surfaces with a brief grass section that's easily navigable in regular running shoes year-round. Course markers ensure easy navigation for all participants. Upon finishing 3 kilometers, you'll receive an exclusive themed medal celebrating your achievement. For those who run longer distances—half-marathon (13.1 miles), marathon (26.2 miles), ultra (70km or more), and the special 50km option—you’ll earn distance pins to add to your collection. All finishers can look forward to a generous goody bag filled with treats, including vegan options upon request at registration. The aid station near the start/finish offers an array of drinks and snacks throughout the event duration. The Last Hop venue provides basic amenities such as toilets but lacks dedicated changing facilities or showers; however, ample space is available in the downstairs restrooms for those who need to change clothes on site. For car parking, Bridge Street Car Park (TW18 4TP) offers convenient options near the race location. On event day, detailed instructions and number pick-up will be communicated via email before the start of the run. Remember that headphones are permitted during your run, but please remain mindful of other path users while enjoying this scenic route along the River Thames. We look forward to celebrating your achievements with you on April 1st!
