Join us for the penultimate day of our Easter 10 in 10 series, featuring a unique and flexible Time Challenge event on Saturday, April 3rd, 2027. Whether you're looking to participate solo or as part of the full 10-day challenge, all runners are welcome at this inclusive race. The event kicks off at The Last Hop, located in Thames Edge Court along Clarence Street in Staines, TW18 4SU. Registration begins early with doors opening at 7:30 am and a formal start time set for 9 am sharp. Members of our club can enjoy discounted entry fees by £10 compared to the full price registration fee. This Time Challenge event offers participants complete control over their distance, ranging from a minimum of 3 kilometers up to an ultra-distance run that surpasses 7 laps (each lap being approximately 4.37 miles or exactly 7km). The course is designed around a scenic stretch along the River Thames and features well-maintained paths with some grass sections for added variety. Runners will encounter two turn points at both 3 kilometers and 5 kilometers to ensure compliance with UK Athletics distance regulations, particularly beneficial for younger participants. For those aiming higher distances like half marathons (three laps), full marathons (six laps), or even ultra runs beyond seven laps, the course layout remains adaptable based on health and safety assessments closer to race day. Upon completion of your chosen distance—minimum being 3 kilometers—you'll receive an exclusive themed medal celebrating your achievement. Additionally, those who complete half-marathon distances or more will earn corresponding pins such as Half-Marathon, Mega-Half, Marathon, Ultra, and 50km pins attached directly onto their medals. Post-race refreshments include a generous goody bag filled with treats to replenish energy spent during the race. Vegan options are also available upon request at registration. Hydration stations will be set up throughout the course for easy access to water and snacks like crisps, cheese, fruit, cookies, and vegan-friendly alternatives. For those celebrating special milestones such as their 50th or 100th marathon/half-marathon with us, we offer personalized number plates recognizing this achievement. Participants can change clothes in the large downstairs toilets at The Last Hop, which will be available from 8 am until race end. Parking is conveniently located nearby on Bridge Street Car Park (TW18 4TP). Remember to check your email for detailed race day instructions sent out a week before the event date. On-site registration and number pick-up services are provided starting at 7:30 AM. As always, please be considerate of other path users while enjoying this scenic run along the River Thames.
