This Japan Association of Athletics Federations-certified race is held on the Ashida River bank in Fukuyama, Hiroshima, with reception at Ashidagawa Kawamachi Hiroba. Events are the full marathon, 30 km, half marathon, 10K, 5K and 1 mile, on a 5 km loop with two water stations per lap offering Aminovital GOLD drink and Amino Shot Perfect Energy gel. Eleven pacer groups cover full marathon times from 2:40 to 4:20. Entry fees are 11,000 yen for the full marathon, 7,700 yen for the 30 km and half marathon, 5,500 yen for the 10K, and 3,300 yen for the 5K and 1 mile. Registration runs from 8:00 to 9:00 and the main races start at 9:30, with the 1 mile at 9:33. Entries close one week before the race, and runners line up five minutes before the start, so warming up is possible until the last moment. The race counts toward the R.LEAGUE ranking series, whose members get 10 percent off entry from their second start.
