The Boulevard Bolt

On November 26, 2026, the Boulevard Bolt returns to Nashville for its 33rd year as one of the largest and most impactful Thanksgiving Day events in the country. This annual race brings together runners from all walks of life to celebrate community spirit while supporting a noble cause: helping those experiencing homelessness.
The event kicks off with packet pick-up at The Temple (5015 Harding Pike, Nashville, TN 37205) on Monday, November 23 through Wednesday, November 25. Participants can collect their race numbers and chips during these days from noon to 6 PM CST for the first two days and 10 AM to 3 PM CST on Thanksgiving Eve.
Race day packet pick-up takes place at St. George’s Episcopal Church parking lot (4715 Harding Pike, Nashville, TN 8:00 am) where runners can also grab their race numbers before hitting the starting line by 9:00 am sharp. Post-race festivities include shirt distribution for those who secured a packet during race week; however, t-shirts are only guaranteed to the first 5,500 participants and sizes are on a first-come-first-served basis.
The Boulevard Bolt is not just about running—it's an event that celebrates community unity. Organized by volunteers from Immanuel Baptist Church, St. George’s Episcopal Church, and The Temple Congregation Ohabai Sholom in Nashville, this race has grown significantly since its inception in 1994, attracting over 7,500 participants each year.
The scenic route takes runners through historic neighborhoods along Harding Pike, offering a mix of flat terrain with some mild inclines. This event welcomes everyone—from competitive racers to casual walkers enjoying the company of friends and family—creating an inclusive atmosphere where all can participate in the spirit of giving back.
Since its inception, the Boulevard Bolt has raised over $5 million for local agencies working tirelessly to end homelessness in Nashville. By participating, runners contribute directly to these efforts through their entry fees, ensuring that every step taken on race day makes a difference in someone's life.
