This challenging trail run offers three distances: the 25K, 50K, and a shorter 10K option, all winding through Georgia’s largest state park during springtime. The route features rugged single-track trails that twist and turn alongside Pine Mountain Trail, offering both steep climbs and exhilarating descents. Runners will enjoy stunning views of the lush forest landscape as they navigate this unique course. Early registrants can secure a special Big 50 shirt while supplies last. All finishers receive a commemorative medal to mark their achievement. Top three male and female competitors in each race category earn overall awards, with first-place winners also getting free entry into next year’s Bootlegger Trail event of choice. After crossing the finish line, participants can relax at our post-race picnic area where hot dogs will be served for everyone to enjoy with friends and family.
