Runners will be treated to an idyllic riverside setting along the Thames Path for this race series, starting from Douglas House Meadow near Richmond. The course begins at the Petersham & Ham Sea Scouts HQ and follows the scenic towpath opposite Barnes Sports Club before returning via the same route to finish back where it all began.
The event offers three distinct distances that cater to various fitness levels but share a common characteristic: they are incredibly fast, flat courses ideal for setting personal bests. The Thames Path provides a runnable surface throughout, with clear markings and consistent marshalling along both directions of the out-and-back route.
Participants can expect well-stocked checkpoints offering refreshments and support at key intervals. Additionally, KLP Medics will be stationed strategically at the start/finish line as well as near Kew Gardens Car Park to ensure safety and provide medical assistance if needed.
