Tawau Half Marathon

The Tawau Half Marathon presents runners with a challenging yet rewarding experience through the hilly landscapes of Sabah, Malaysian Borneo. Starting and finishing at the Institute of Science & Management (ISM) in Tawau, this race features a course that winds up and down Bukit 3, testing competitors' endurance and pacing skills amidst tropical conditions. As part of the Sabah East Coast Half Marathon Series, it follows events held in Kunak and Lahad Datu earlier in the year. The event attracts runners from across the region, fostering a vibrant community spirit among participants. Runners can expect refreshments along the route and receive finisher medals upon completion, with half marathon finishers also earning an exclusive shirt to commemorate their achievement.
