T30 Run

About the Event

On September 19, 2027, the T30 Run returns to captivate runners and walkers along the iconic Via Francigena route from San Miniato to Gambassi Terme. This scenic journey through the rolling hills of Val d’Elsa offers a blend of white roads, ridges, ancient churches, charming villages, and breathtaking Tuscan landscapes.
The T30 Run is more than just a race; it's an immersive experience that combines sport with appreciation for the natural beauty and cultural heritage of the region. Participants can choose to run or walk at their own pace, aiming for personal bests or simply enjoying the picturesque surroundings. The route follows one of the most beautiful stretches of the Via Francigena.
The T30 section is steeped in history as it retraces part of Archbishop Sigeric’s pilgrimage path from Rome back to Canterbury around 990 AD. His detailed notes documented each stage of his journey, and this particular leg has been preserved for its historical significance and scenic beauty.
Runners will encounter a mix of terrain including gentle climbs along ridges, descents into charming villages, and serene stretches through vineyards and olive groves. The event promises not only physical challenge but also cultural enrichment as participants explore the rich heritage and stunning vistas that define this part of Tuscany.
The day offers an opportunity to connect with nature while honoring a historic journey that has inspired countless travelers over centuries. Whether you're seeking personal achievement or simply wish to immerse yourself in the beauty of Val d’Elsa, the T30 Run provides a unique blend of sport and cultural exploration along one of Italy’s most celebrated routes.
Registration for this event is highly recommended as it fills up quickly due to its popularity among both local enthusiasts and international visitors alike. Join us on September 19th for an unforgettable day in the heart of Tuscany.
