The Swim Festival invites swimmers of all ages to plunge into its crystal-clear waters off the coast, offering an exhilarating open-water experience. Swimmers can choose from three distances: 1km, 2km, or 3km, each providing a unique challenge and opportunity for personal achievement. The event is tailored not only for adults but also includes a special juniors' category for those aged 8 to 14 years old, with an approximate distance of 500m. Each race begins separately in the order of 3km, followed by 2km, and then 1km. This sequence allows participants aiming for all three distances to comfortably transition between events without rushing, accumulating a total of 6 kilometers across the day. The course features short laps around buoy markers set in clear waters that are ideal for spectators lining up along the shore. Swimmers will enjoy an easy exit point near the water's edge, designed with safety and convenience in mind. All participants receive a swim hat and a commemorative medal upon completion of their chosen distance. For those who sign up for all three races, there’s a £15 discount on entry fees as a reward for dedication. The festival also celebrates individual success by awarding male and female prizes to the top finishers in each distance category, along with age group winners across various categories.
