The SV Puttenloop is an enchanting race that takes runners through the heart of nature and history, starting at Landgoed Schovenhorst in Putten on December 19, 2026. This historic estate, known for its majestic trees, serves as the perfect backdrop to explore two ancient forests: Sprielderbosch and Speulderbosch.
Participants can choose from three distances: a scenic 5 km run, an invigorating 10 km route, or a challenging half marathon of 21.1 kilometers. Each course offers unique terrain with the 10-kilometer race and half marathon both passing through Solse Gat, a legendary area believed to hide a submerged monastery according to local lore.
The half-marathon also ventures into the Garderense dunes, reaching an elevation of approximately 150 meters at its highest point. The course is meticulously marked with clear directions, ensuring runners stay on track throughout their journey.
Registration for this event closes sharply at midnight on December 14th, and participants can sign up individually or as part of a group through inschrijven.nl. With a maximum capacity of 450 runners, early registration is recommended to secure your spot. Start numbers will be available from 9:15 am on race day.
