About the Event

On March 20, 2027, Fairhope prepares to host its annual celebration of spring with the 49th Spring Fever Chase. This beloved race offers both seasoned runners and casual walkers a chance to enjoy the scenic beauty of downtown Fairhope as it overlooks Mobile Bay.
The event features two distinct courses: the challenging yet rewarding 10K and the more relaxed 2-mile fun run/walk. Both routes are meticulously measured, ensuring accuracy for all participants. The course is designed with rolling terrain that allows runners to test their endurance while enjoying picturesque views of the bay.
Water stations will be strategically placed at key points along both courses, providing much-needed hydration for those who need it most. At the finish line, a clock stands ready to capture your run's unofficial time, offering immediate satisfaction and motivation. For those seeking official timing services, simply remain in the chute after crossing the finish line.
This year’s race supports Baldwin County Schools through generous donations from Thomas Hospital and Wells Fargo. By participating or donating, you contribute directly to educational initiatives that enrich local communities.
