Spen Greenway 10k

Spenborough and District Athletic Club invites runners from across the region to participate in the Spen Greenway 10K on Sunday, October 11th, 2026. Set to start promptly at 11:00 a.m., this event offers an ideal opportunity for participants to test their endurance along the scenic disused railway line that runs through West Yorkshire.
The race begins and ends at Princess Mary Athletics Stadium in Liversedge (WF15 6LW), just two miles from Junction 26 of the M62 motorway. The flat, traffic-free course is perfect for runners aiming to achieve a personal best time due to its smooth tarmac surface and lack of elevation changes.
Participants will find ample facilities at the starting venue, including parking spaces, changing rooms, showers, refreshments, and on-site results display. Entry fees are £15 for affiliated club members, £17 for unattached runners with booking fees applicable, and a flat fee of £20 for day-of registration but still eligible for prizes.
The 10K route follows an out-and-back course along the Greenway from Primrose Lane to Low Moor. As part of their commitment to rewarding effort and achievement, Spenborough & District AC will award first-place male and female runners as well as veteran categories with specially designed mementos.
