SOUTER LIGHTHOUSE SUMMER TRAIL RUNS

Both runs start at 7pm, providing participants with ample daylight to enjoy the scenic beauty of South Tyneside.
Souter Lighthouse stands as one of the region's most recognizable landmarks, offering a backdrop of spectacular coastal scenery and open grassland that sets the stage for an unforgettable trail running experience. The route is designed to showcase the area’s natural beauty while providing runners with varied terrain including firm paths and grassy trails.
For those who enjoy bringing their furry friends along on adventures, this event welcomes dogs as long as they are kept under control at all times. One well-behaved dog per runner can join in on the fun, making it a great opportunity for canicross enthusiasts to participate together with their pets.
Upon crossing the finish line, participants will receive a bespoke medal and Wild Deer merchandise to commemorate their achievement. Refreshments including snacks and drinks will be available post-race, ensuring runners are well-replenished after their run along the coast.
