Soles4Vets Memorial 5k Race/Walk

Join Footprints of Michigan for the 2027 Soles4Vets Memorial 5K Run/Walk on May 24, 2027, at Granger Meadows Park in Lansing, Michigan.

Run or walk with purpose as we honor the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country. This meaningful event brings our community together in remembrance, gratitude, and support of veterans in need.

Proceeds support our Soles4Vets program, providing footwear to veterans with comfort, dignity, and appreciation for their service. Whether you’re running for a personal best or walking in someone’s memory, every step helps make a difference.

Pricing - $40 until May 1st (t-shirt & Medal guaranteed), $45 from May 2nd to May 16th (t-shirts not guaranteed).  

                $15 Tiny feet for our Troops Run (Finisher Medal, Bib, and Goodie bag),  Run around 350ft. Age limit 2 to 12 years old.

T-Shirt  - All participants will receive a t-shirt, guaranteed with registrations by May 1st. After that t-shirts available as supplies last.

Awards - Awards to Overall winner male and female. Winner Boy (8-12), Winner Girl (8-12) Winner Teen Male (13-18), Winner Teen Female (13-18), Senior Male (50-59) Senior Female (50-59), Senior Male (60-69), Senior Female (60-69), Senior Male (70 & Up), Senior Female & Up)

Finisher medal - All participants will receive a finishers medal (image below)

Course - The race is a 5k run/walk (3.1 miles) on a 100% paved path at Granger Meadows park. The course is an out and back. Map listed above in the menu. 

Early Packet Pick Up - Friday, May 21, 2027 Location TBA

Race Day Packet Pickup will be held at the race location starting at 9:00 am.at the Registration booth.

The race will be professionally timed by the Michigan Running Foundation. Results will be live and posted on this website.
