Embrace the joy of running without the rush or pressure. This race is all about taking it easy, connecting with your community, and enjoying every step along the way. Whether you’re a seasoned runner or just starting out, this event welcomes runners of all paces and ages (under 18s must be accompanied by an adult). The run offers several distance options including a 5K, 10K, half-marathon, as well as a virtual race option for those who prefer to set their own pace. Each wave is capped at a manageable number of participants ensuring that everyone feels part of the community rather than just another competitor in a large crowd. Registration waves start promptly with Wave A kicking off at 7:30 AM followed by Waves B and C at 8:00 AM and 8:30 AM respectively. If you find yourself running late, don’t worry – coordinators will be on-site for an additional three hours after the first wave to welcome any stragglers. The event is designed with simplicity in mind; there’s no gear setup or fuss involved. Participants are greeted by friendly faces along the course who cheer them on throughout their run. Timing is optional, allowing runners to track their own progress using apps like Strava, RunKeeper, Nike Run, and more before submitting results through an easy online form. Upon registration, you’ll receive a running T-shirt shipped directly to your door (U.S. addresses only) along with other swag such as a finisher’s medal and virtual training run details emailed ahead of the race date. Additionally, runners are invited to join local running clubs for continued support beyond this event. For those who prefer flexibility or can’t make it on race day, there's also an option to participate virtually from anywhere at any time within your chosen week period. Simply send in your results post-run and claim your medal as a reward for your effort. With its relaxed atmosphere and focus on community engagement, this run offers more than just a race experience; it’s about fostering connections among runners while supporting personal fitness goals and local initiatives. Join us on April 10, 2027, to be part of something special that celebrates the joy of running at your own pace.
