Immerse yourself in the magical world of Saluda Shoals Park as you participate in the enchanting Sleigh Bell Trot on Sunday, November 22, 2026. This unique nighttime race takes place amidst the dazzling light displays of Holiday Lights on the River, transforming the park into a winter wonderland.
The event begins with check-in from 5:00pm to 6:50pm, giving you ample time to explore the festive atmosphere and prepare for your run. The trot itself starts promptly at 7:00pm under the glow of twinkling lights and holiday cheer. Participants can choose to register between September 1st and November 21st for a fee of $40 per person or opt for on-the-day registration, which costs $45 (military discounts are available).
The Sleigh Bell Trot is open rain or shine, offering an unforgettable experience regardless of the weather. As you run through this illuminated course, you'll be treated to spectacular views and festive music that add to the joyous ambiance.
Upon crossing the finish line, all participants will receive a commemorative t-shirt and a finisher's medal. Water stations along the route ensure hydration as you enjoy your race in comfort and style.
The event also features awards for 1st through 3rd place male and female runners across various age categories: 8 & under, 10 & under, 12 & under, 14 & under, 19 & under, 24 & under, 29 & under, 34 & under, 39 & under, 44 & under, 49 & under, 54 & under, 59 & under, 64 & under, and 70+. These awards celebrate the achievements of runners who push themselves to excel in this special event.
Packet pick-up is available at Saluda Shoals Park Tennis Center on Friday, November 20 from 11am to 2pm or Saturday, November 21 from 10am to 4pm. You can also collect your packet on the night of the race before check-in begins.
All parking for both the Sleigh Bell Stroll and Trot will be located at Saluda Shoals Park East entrance. The address is 6071 St. Andrews Rd., between Wendy’s and Aldi, providing easy access to all event activities.
