IFK Göteborg orienteering runs this event with full focus on the runners and the courses. The club's elite runners train countless hours on these small paths—and they want to share how fun trail running can be. The race has grown from 166 participants in its premiere year (2010) to over 1,100 runners by 2019. Course records: Fredrik Bakkman holds the men's five‑ridges record at 1:28:29 (2019), and Karin Nilsson holds the women's record at 1:48:18 (2019).
All competition information—start times, how to get to Skatås, fluid checks, and refreshments—is available under the competition information section. The race is part of the Skatåstriple, which challenges runners to complete the longest course in three events: Skatås ryggar, Skatås sjöar, and Skatås mörkaste.
Collaboration partners include VJ Sports, Ica Focus, Umara, SM Sports, Outnorth Trail Tour, and LedX Lights. For foreign runners, specific information is available on the Foreign Runners page. Registration opens through the event website. Join Gothenburg's largest trail race and experience why runners come back year after year to conquer these rocky ridges.
