Sikkim Manipal University Sikkim Soldierathon 3.0, Gangtok, Sunday, 29th November, 2026

On November 29, 2026, the Paljor Stadium in Gangtok, Sikkim will host the third edition of the Soldierathon. This unique running event brings together runners and members of the Indian Armed Forces for a day dedicated to fitness, camaraderie, and national pride.
Participants can choose from several categories: a 21-kilometer half marathon or a 10-kilometer timed run, both open to those aged 18 years and above. For younger participants, there is a 5-kilometer non-timed run/walk for ages 10 and up, as well as a special one-kilometer honor walk designed for children and senior citizens.
The event features strong ties with the Indian Army’s Eastern Command, Trishakti Corps, and Black Cat/17 Mountain Division. Runners will have the opportunity to train alongside soldiers, fostering unity and respect between civilians and military personnel. The scenic backdrop of Gangtok provides a stunning setting for this heartfelt celebration of fitness and service.
In addition to competitive racing opportunities, Soldierathon offers inclusive activities like an honor walk and cheer buddy category for supporters.
