SHEFFIELD URBAN TRAIL RUNS

Experience an enchanting evening of trail running at Parkwood Springs in Sheffield on Wednesday, July 14, 2027. This event offers two routes: a scenic 5km run and a more challenging 10km loop through the woodland trails and open parkland that dot this unique green space.
The 10km route starts promptly at 7:00 PM, while the 5km race begins just five minutes later at 7:05 PM. Both courses wind through lush woodlands and offer breathtaking views of Sheffield’s skyline as you navigate elevated sections of trail.
This event is not only a fantastic training opportunity but also welcomes those looking for an engaging evening outdoors with friends or their canine companions, thanks to its canicross-friendly policy. Each runner may bring one controlled dog on a lead throughout the run.
Participants will be timed using live chip-timing provided by Timing Up North, allowing you to track your performance and compare times with fellow runners accurately. Upon crossing the finish line, all participants receive a finisher’s medal, a merchandise item, and refreshments including snacks and drinks.
For an extra touch of memorability, add a custom event T-shirt during registration for £14. Check the latest parking information provided in your entry details to ensure smooth access on race day.
Join us at Parkwood Springs for a midweek dose of motivation and fun as you explore some of Sheffield’s most beautiful trails under the evening sky. We can't wait to see you there!
