Shanghai Rural Commercial Bank 2026 Jinshan Pinghu Half Marathon & Shanghai-Zhejiang Countryside Half Marathon (上海农商银行·2026金山平湖半程马拉松暨沪浙乡村半程马拉松)

The Shanghai Rural Commercial Bank 2026 Jinshan Pinghu Half Marathon, scheduled for Sunday, November 15th at 8:30 AM, will take place across the border towns of Lángxià and Guāngchén in Jīnshān District, Shanghai and Pínghú City, Zhejiang Province. The race starts and finishes at the Máo Làng Highway inside the Lángxià Ecological Park with a total of 4000 participants for this unique event that spans two provinces.
The scenic half marathon course covers 21.0975 kilometers through picturesque landscapes featuring vast fields of golden rice paddies, lush forests, traditional Jiangnan villages, and modern agricultural parks. The race route begins at the Lángxià Ecological Park, then travels along Jinlang Road and Nongchuang Avenue before crossing into Zhejiang Province via Shantang Central Street.
Participants will experience a blend of historical charm and natural beauty as they run through ancient stone bridges and vibrant rural communities. Approximately 14 kilometers are within Shanghai's Jīnshān District, while the remaining 7 kilometers extend into Pínghú City’s Guāngchén Town. The route is marked by colorful windmills, rainbow-colored pathways, and serene countryside vistas.
This year, organizers aim to secure China Athletics Association B-class event certification, ensuring high standards of organization and safety for all participants. With ample opportunities for runners to experience the unique cross-provincial race course firsthand, this half marathon offers a rare chance to feel the pulse of rural revitalization in both provinces.
Registration opens on September 1st with spots allocated on a first-come, first-served basis until full capacity is reached. The entry fee is RMB 150 per person and can be secured through various online platforms including Guolong Sports' website, Digital Heartbeat, Malamarathon, RunRun Network, HuiPao, and Youmai Events.
