Shamrock Shuffle 5k

On March 6th, 2027, the UW-Eau Claire community gears up for the Shamrock Shuffle 5k, hosted by the Recreation and Sport Operations department. This family-friendly race kicks off at 10am from the McPhee Physical Education Center on campus. Participants will start their journey with a challenging descent down Garfield Avenue hill before crossing over the scenic university footbridge. The route then follows the Chippewa Valley River trail, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape as runners loop back to finish where they began.
Whether you're aiming for personal best times or enjoying a leisurely pace, there's something for everyone at this event. Strollers are welcome, making it an inclusive experience for families and friends alike. Race organizers encourage participants to register by February 17th, 2026, to ensure guaranteed t-shirts in their preferred size; extra shirts will be available but not guaranteed after the deadline.
The Shamrock Shuffle promises a memorable start to your running season with its unique blend of scenic beauty and community spirit.
