Severn Valley Trail Run

The Severn Valley Trail Run offers runners an exhilarating and scenic journey through the heart of the historic Severn Valley Country Park, located near Alveley and Bridgnorth. Set for Sunday, April 25, 2027, at 11:00am, this challenging yet rewarding 10k trail race is organized by Severn Valley Challenge Events.
Participants will traverse a varied landscape that includes dirt paths, woodland trails, gravel surfaces, and grassy areas. The route features natural climbs and descents, providing runners with stunning views of the surrounding valley. While some sections may be muddy or soft depending on weather conditions, this race is not an extreme mud run. Trail shoes are recommended for optimal performance.
The course is marked clearly throughout, ensuring that participants can focus on enjoying the picturesque scenery and challenging terrain without worrying about navigation. The event promises a mix of technical trails with natural undulations and uneven footing, making it ideal for runners who enjoy off-road racing.
Upon completing the race, all finishers will receive a medal and goody bag as well as complimentary race photography to capture their achievement. This event is open only to those aged 15 or older on race day.
