Seoul Love Marathon 2026

The Seoul Love Marathon 2026 invites runners to the vibrant heart of Seokgwan-dong, located in Seongbuk-gu, Seoul. This special edition celebrates the city's spirit and love for running with a theme that resonates deeply: 'LOVE · RUN · SEOUL.' On Sunday, November 29, 2026, participants will gather to run for themselves, their families, and friends.
The event kicks off early in the morning, with preparations starting at 8:00 AM. The race itself commences promptly at 9:00 AM, offering three distinct distances tailored to every runner's preference: a half marathon (21 kilometers), a 10-kilometer run, and a shorter but equally engaging 5-kilometer course.
Registration for the Seoul Love Marathon opens on September 23, 2026, and closes either when all spots are filled by October 31 or earlier if capacity is reached. Runners can choose from three categories: KRW 50,000 for the half marathon, KRW 45,000 for the 10 km run, and KRW 40,000 for the 5 km race. The event has a total capacity of 5,000 participants, with specific limits set at 2,000 runners each for the half marathon and 10-kilometer races, and an additional 1,000 spots reserved for those taking on the shorter distance.
All distances utilize timing chips to accurately record every runner's performance. The Seoul Love Marathon is a collaborative effort between the Seoul Metropolitan Government, Seoul Athletics Federation, Seongbuk-gu Athletics Federation, and High Gear. Detailed routes will be announced closer to the event date, providing runners with all necessary information for their training.
This unique marathon promises an unforgettable experience in one of Korea's most culturally rich neighborhoods, where every step along the course is filled with scenic beauty and a warm community atmosphere.
