About the Event

The WILD HYBRID CHAMPIONSHIPS, an exclusive invite-only event, takes place on September 25, 2027, at Exhibition Park in Newcastle upon Tyne. This prestigious Championship invites the top performers from qualifying events across the year to compete for supremacy.
Set against the vibrant backdrop of Newcastle's heart, Exhibition Park offers a blend of open green spaces and urban energy that sets the stage perfectly for this elite competition. The course challenges athletes with both running sections around picturesque park trails and functional fitness stations set up on the expansive grass areas.
Competitors can expect to push their limits in front of enthusiastic spectators who are encouraged to attend from nearby Newcastle city centre, just moments away by foot or public transport. As a top-tier event, all finishers will receive unique merchandise from sponsors, while podium positions across categories will be awarded with flags sent post-event.
For those looking for convenience and ease, local car parks and on-street parking options are readily available near Exhibition Park, complemented by regular bus and Metro services nearby to ensure smooth access. The event promises a day of intense competition and celebration in one of the UK's most dynamic cities.
The exact start times will be confirmed a week before the race but can range from 8am to 5pm, ensuring that participants have ample time to soak up the Championship atmosphere at this must-attend hybrid fitness challenge.
