Santa Claus Shuffle 2026

Celebrate the holiday spirit on Saturday, December 12th with the Santa Claus Shuffle, now in its 32nd year. This family-friendly event offers both a 5k race and a one-mile fun run through charming Olde Towne Portsmouth.
The Santa Claus Shuffle is more than just a race; it's an opportunity to give back while getting fit. Participants can look forward to a festive atmosphere, complete with holiday cheer and the chance to support Tidewater Youth Services Foundation. For over three decades, this event has rallied the community around a shared goal of helping young people in need.
Post-race festivities take place at Post Secondary Brewing where runners are invited to enjoy 20% off their beverages by simply showing their race bibs. The celebration doesn't end there; Olde Towne Portsmouth offers additional discounts and activities for participants, making it easy to extend the fun into a full day of community engagement.
Join us this December as we come together in support of local youth initiatives while enjoying a scenic run through one of Virginia's most historic neighborhoods.
