Santa Classic 5K

Experience the magic of the holiday season at the Santa Classic 5K Run/Walk on December 5, 2026. This festive race not only celebrates the joy of running but also supports Wabash Township's Professional Firefighter Local Union 5383 through their Shop with a Firefighter fundraiser. Participants are invited to don their most whimsical holiday costumes – think elves and Santas alike – for an added touch of seasonal cheer, with special prizes up for grabs for the best costume in each category.
The race begins at 8:00 am sharp from the Wabash Township Fire Department on Klondike Road. The course winds through charming West Lafayette streets adorned with twinkling lights and holiday decorations, creating a picturesque backdrop for runners eager to soak up the festive spirit. After crossing the finish line, participants can enjoy age group awards, refreshments, and perhaps even catch Santa himself making an appearance.
Registration opens at 6:30 am on race day but early birds who sign up by November 20th secure their commemorative event shirts for just $30; prices rise to $40 on the actual morning of the run. Don't miss out on this delightful opportunity to embrace the holiday season while supporting a great cause and enjoying a unique running experience in West Lafayette, Indiana.
