The Salt Lake Foothills Trail Races are scheduled for Saturday, May 30, 2026, in Salt Lake City, Utah. Presented by Path Projects, this event features a range of challenging distances through the steep and scenic Wasatch foothills. Event Logistics and Participant Information:

-- Bib Pickup: Registered participants are asked to collect their bibs on Friday, May 29, at EVO (660 W 400 W) between 3:30 PM and 7:30 PM. Morning-of pickup is discouraged.
-- Half Marathon Format: This specific distance is a point-to-point race starting at Ensign Peak. There is no provided shuttle for 2026; participants are responsible for their own transportation to the start line.
-- 50 Miler Requirements: The 50-mile course is updated for 2026 and requires specific kit items, including at least 2.5L of water capacity and a headlamp. One pacer is permitted, joining at the Bonneville Aid Station (mile 32 or 40).
-- Registration Deadlines: Registration for all distances officially closes on Sunday, May 24, at 11:59 PM MT.
-- Refund Policy: A 50% refund is available through March 1; after this date, no refunds or deferrals are granted, with the exception of 100% deferrals for pregnancy.

Awards and Incentives:

-- Prize Purse: A total of $3,000 is available for top performers. In the 50K, 1st place receives $475, 2nd receives $325, and 3rd receives $200. For the Half Marathon, the prizes are $225, $175, and $100 respectively.
-- Podium Recognition: The top three men and women across all four distances will receive podium awards.
-- Promotional Codes: Discounts are available for military members (active and veterans), first responders, and teachers using the codes "Military," "FirstResponder," and "Teacher" respectively. Proof of status must be presented at bib pickup.
-- Course Amenities: Aid stations are accessible to spectators and crew, though parking near the University of Utah campus and hospital areas is not guaranteed.
