Ryobi Family Fun Trail Run/Walk - 1 November 2026

Embark on an exhilarating journey through the scenic trails with the inaugural RYOBI Family Fun Trail Run/Walk, designed to unite runners and their families for a day filled with movement, competition, and camaraderie. This unique event not only celebrates fitness but also supports conservation efforts in East and South Africa by partnering with the Endangered Wildlife Fund (EWF). All entry fees will be donated to help protect endangered species.
Participants can choose from various distances, including 5km, 10km, 15km, and 21km, each offering a blend of challenging terrain and picturesque scenery. The race day starts early with registration opening at 6:00 AM for race card collection and on-the-day entries are not available due to high demand.
The event is packed with excitement as top male and female finishers across all distances will receive valuable prizes worth R70,000 in total from Sportsmans Warehouse. For the longest distance of 21km, first place winners take home a generous prize package including an R4,000 voucher and a RYOBI tool kit.
Join fellow runners for an unforgettable day that combines fitness with fun while contributing to important conservation efforts. Race start times vary by distance: 6:30 AM for the 21km, 7:00 AM for the 15km, 7:30 AM for the 10km, and 8:00 AM for the 5km event. All participants must finish before the cut-off time of 11:00 AM to be eligible for prizes, which will begin distribution at 10:00 AM.
