Rye Summer 10k & 5k Series: Race Four

Nestled along the coast of East Sussex, this conservation site is a mosaic of interlocking shingle ridges, saltmarshes, tidal grazing lands, reed beds, and saline lagoons, offering a unique blend of natural splendor and challenging terrain.
Each race in the series offers participants a choice between a 10k or 5k distance, except for the September edition. The races are held on flat, fast tarmac routes that wind through this stunning landscape, providing runners with an opportunity to witness the reserve's diverse ecosystems up close. While conditions can be windy at times, favorable weather often results in swift race times.
The Rye Summer Classic Series is renowned for its friendly and vibrant atmosphere, making it a favorite among both novice and seasoned runners alike. Each event concludes with bespoke medals awarded to 10k and 5k participants, while the junior run offers finisher medals as well. Trophies are also available for top performers.
Free parking is provided at each race location, ensuring that all attendees can focus on enjoying their experience without worrying about transportation logistics. The series runs throughout summer with specific races scheduled on Fridays: May 8th, June 5th, July 10th, August 7th, and September 4th, 2026. Full-series bookings can be made before the first race day for those interested in securing their spot early.
On-the-day entry fees vary by distance:
- £25 for the 10k
- £20 for the 5k
- £7 for the Junior Run
