About the Event

On October 24, the Southeastern Community College West Burlington campus will come alive for the Red, White & Run/Walk race. This family-friendly 3K course winds through scenic pathways and lush greenery of the college's vibrant grounds at 9:00 am sharp. The event features divisions for seniors (50 years +), adults (19-49 years), and high school/youth runners (ages 12-18). Participants can look forward to prizes awarded to the top two finishers in each category, adding an extra layer of excitement to the day's festivities. The proceeds from this event support Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society students' leadership conferences and training events. Race packets are available for pickup starting two hours before race time at the Des Moines County Fair Grounds on the south side, where free parking is also provided. Cash registration will be accepted on-site if you haven't registered online in advance.
Join the fun and enjoy a day of friendly competition, beautiful scenery, and community spirit!
