Lace Up. Show Up. Shine With Us. Join us for the inaugural Hermiston High School Running on Stardust Fun Run —a community event where every step makes a difference. Whether you're an experienced runner, a casual jogger, or simply want to enjoy a morning walk with family and friends, this event is for you. Every step taken and every dollar raised helps support the Hermiston High School Stardust Dance Team throughout the 2026–2027 season. Together, we're investing in the dedicated student-athletes who proudly represent Hermiston through countless hours of practice, performances, and competitions. Your participation helps provide our dancers with the resources they need to succeed, including choreography, costumes, music, team equipment, and other essential program costs. By joining us, you're helping create opportunities for our dancers to continue pursuing excellence both on and off the dance floor. This event is open to participants of all ages and abilities. Whether you're running for a personal best, walking with friends, or supporting a favorite dancer, we invite you to be part of a fun, family-friendly morning that celebrates fitness, community, and local student-athletes. Event Details Date: Saturday, October 3rd, 2026 Location: Oxbow Trail, Hermiston, Oregon Start Time: 8:00 a.m. Who Can Participate: All ages and fitness levels are welcome. Run or Walk: Participants may choose to run or walk the course at their own pace. What's Included in Your Race Day Experience Custom Running on Stardust race bib Finisher Medal guaranteed for first 300 registrations Water stations along the course Post-race refreshments and snacks Music, photo opportunities, and a celebratory finish-line atmosphere The chance to cheer on and meet the Stardust Dance Team Race Details 5K (3.1 miles) - Starts at 8:00am Course: Out-and-back along the Oxbow Trail — flat, paved, and clearly marked Pace: Run or walk at your own speed 1 Mile - Starts at 8:05am Course: Out-and-back along the Oxbow Trail — flat, paved, and clearly marked Pace: Run or walk at your own speed Great for: Younger participants, families, and anyone looking for a shorter distance General Info Check-In & Packet Pickup: 7:00 – 7:45 a.m. at the starting area Race Start: 8:00 a.m. (5k) and 8:05 a.m. (1 Mile) Timing: This is a fundraiser run — not officially timed. Course Markings: Both courses will be clearly marked along the trail Strollers: Welcome on the course Parking: Free parking available near the trailhead Registration 5K (3.1 miles): $30 per participant 1 Mile: $20 per participant Children 12 & Under: FREE All registration fees go directly toward supporting the Hermiston High School Stardust Dance Team for the 2026–2027 season.
