Run for Morales

On October 24, 2026, runners are invited to participate in a heartwarming 5k run that aims to support Lissette Morales and her family. Recently faced with the diagnosis of brain cancer for Mr. Morales, the community is rallying together to provide much-needed financial assistance during this challenging time.
The event will take place at Oxbow Trail in Hermiston, Oregon, offering participants an opportunity to enjoy a scenic route while contributing to a meaningful cause. To add some festive flair, runners are encouraged to come dressed in Halloween costumes, transforming the run into a community celebration that brings joy and support during difficult times.
Participants should arrive by 7:30 am to warm up, collect their race numbers, and attend the pre-race briefing scheduled for just before the start time of 8 am. The event promises an engaging atmosphere with fellow runners coming together in solidarity, all while enjoying a picturesque trail that showcases Hermiston's natural beauty.
