The Annual Fall Fling 5K returns on November 8, 2026, inviting runners to embrace the crisp autumn air and vibrant foliage that adorn Central Park. Located just off Bartlet Street, this picturesque park is surrounded by Andover's charming downtown area, offering a perfect setting for a community celebration. Race morning sees participants gather in the heart of Central Park as nature’s palette comes alive with fall colors. Temperatures hover around 3 degrees Celsius on race day, prompting runners to bundle up comfortably while enjoying the brisk pace through fresh autumn air. Ideal humidity levels at 67% ensure pleasant conditions and clear visibility throughout the event. Since its inception in 2014, this beloved annual festival has raised over $500,000 for veteran support programs via partnerships with Ironstone Farm, The Homeland Heroes Foundation, It Takes A Herd Foundation, Strongwater Farm, and Veterans Adaptive Sports & Training. This year’s lineup features a standard 5K run for adults alongside a Kids Run designed for participants aged 13 and under, as well as an option for those preferring to join virtually. Fees are $50.14 per adult, with a reduced rate of $12.69 for participants 65 years or older, including virtual registrants. On November 7th from 3 PM to 8 PM, bibs can be picked up at Andover Town Hall using photo ID and confirmation email as required. The course is designed for all skill levels with flat terrain that weaves through quaint Main Street before looping back into Central Park. Every kilometer features an aid station ensuring runners stay well-hydrated. The Fall Fling 5K transcends just a run; it’s a celebration of community, recognition of military service, and support for those who have served our nation.
