Run For Planet - Lyon

About the Event

Run for Planet is an eco-designed and socially responsible race taking place on April 4, 2027, in France. This unique event aims to raise awareness among the public about environmental challenges as well as social and ethical issues while also supporting organizations dedicated to protecting our planet.
Participants can choose from two distances: a scenic 10km trail run or a more relaxed 5km walk through beautiful natural landscapes. Both routes offer stunning views of the surrounding area, immersing runners in nature while they contribute to an important cause.
A portion of every registration fee is transparently allocated and donated directly to one of five selected beneficiary associations: Médecins du Monde, Sea Shepherd France, L214 Ethique et Animaux, La Ligue de Protection des Oiseaux, or Planète Urgence. Since the race's inception, over €110,686 has been raised for these organizations.
Run for Planet combines a commitment to environmental stewardship with an engaging and scenic running experience that highlights the beauty of nature while fostering community support for critical causes.
