Run for Palestine - Saskatoon 2026

Join the vibrant spirit of solidarity at the 3rd Annual Run for Palestine (RfP) Saskatoon on September 27th, 2026. This heartwarming charity run/walk invites runners and walkers alike to participate in a 5K race or a 2K walk through Rotary Park and along the picturesque South Saskatchewan River.
The event promises an engaging route that starts from Rotary Park and winds its way past University Bridge before returning via Victoria Bridge, offering stunning views of Saskatoon's downtown skyline. All proceeds will go towards supporting critical humanitarian aid initiatives in Palestine, with this year’s goal set at raising $15,000 to fund essential projects.
In collaboration with Islamic Relief Canada, the funds raised aim to support Phase 2 of the Eye Cataract Surgery Project and provide emergency food and health services for families affected by ongoing crises. The initiative will also offer sponsorship for orphans in need and supply basic essentials like clean water, healthcare, shelter, and psychosocial support.
This year's efforts build on last year’s success where Phase 1 of the Eye Cataract Surgery Project saw significant achievements: over 9,700 beneficiaries were reached, more than 13,400 medical consultations provided, and nearly 123,000 clinical services delivered. With your support, we have already completed over 519 ophthalmic surgeries across various specialties in the first two months of Phase 2.
Participants will gather at Rotary Park for a day filled with community spirit and meaningful action from 1:00 PM to 4:45 PM. The event includes registration from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, followed by an engaging program starting at 1:30 PM, the run kicking off at 2:30 PM, and a walk beginning shortly after at 2:40 PM.
