About the Event

The Saskatoon Run for Recovery, taking place on September 20, 2026, during the month dedicated to recovery, invites runners of all levels to participate in either a 2k or 5k run. This impactful event is held at Rotary Park and aims to honor those living with substance use disorder as well as celebrate their journey towards recovery.
Registration opens at 9:00 am, followed by swag bag pick-up from the same time. The day kicks off with an inspiring opening ceremony featuring a dynamic drum group performance and a heartfelt prayer. At precisely 10:00 am, runners will set out on the 2k route, while those choosing the longer distance can start their journey at 10:15 am.
Upon completing your run, you'll be greeted with a special finisher's metal as well as motivational speeches from individuals who have walked this path and found recovery. The event not only supports these brave souls but also raises funds to assist young people in need of support through Summit Outreach and Counselling services.
Join us for an experience that blends physical challenge, community spirit, and the powerful message of hope and resilience.
