Run for Climate

Join runners from around the globe for the Run for Climate on November 29, 2026, as you lace up to support environmental initiatives. The race begins at Lac Inférieur, nestled within Bois de Boulogne’s expansive greenery in Paris's western outskirts. As autumn hues blend with cool temperatures hovering between 5°C and 10°C, the atmosphere is ripe for a spirited run.
The course weaves through forest trails away from city noise, offering a serene setting reminiscent of the Paris Marathon finale but without its grueling distance. With minimal elevation gain—about fifteen meters over five kilometers and around fifty meters in ten—the route promises swift times conducive to personal bests.
Since its inception as part of COP21’s 10th anniversary celebrations, this race has been a beacon for environmental stewardship. Every registration supports the PARC Foundation, funding critical research towards climate goals. Eco-friendly practices are at the heart of the event; participants bring their own water bottles to minimize waste.
Open to runners aged sixteen and older—both licensed and unlicensed—the Run for Climate welcomes all levels from novices to seasoned athletes. Company teams also join in, fostering camaraderie while raising awareness about environmental issues. Post-race refreshments include a Paris-Brest pastry, honoring cyclists but strictly enjoyed off the course.
Beyond the race day activities, Bois de Boulogne offers numerous attractions: explore Bagatelle’s rose garden (revisit it for blooms in June), witness horse racing at Longchamp, or visit Roland-Garros tennis stadium. Enjoy these sights while reflecting on a successful run and your contribution to climate action.
On November 29th, embrace the chill of autumn as you stride towards a warmer future for our planet.
Join us for an unforgettable race that combines fitness with environmental advocacy in one of Paris’s most beloved green spaces.
