RUDUM by Pegasus 2027

Embark on the inaugural RUDUM, an ultra marathon that celebrates Pegasus Ultra Running's 10th anniversary by exploring lesser-known terrain along the Rhymney Valley Ridgway. This brand-new race ventures into the hills of Caerphilly, including Mynydd Rudry and Caerphilly Common, offering runners a unique and scenic course through rugged landscapes.
Participants can choose between two distances: the full 30-mile RUDUM or the half marathon option covering approximately half that distance. Both routes promise breathtaking views and challenging terrain, making it an ideal training ground for those preparing for longer trail events like the Stable Adventures Calon Lan 300.
For those looking to push their limits further, completing six Pegasus Ultra Running races in 2027 qualifies you for the prestigious PEGASUS SLAM. This year's edition includes a new HALF SLAM category for runners who complete six half-distance events, each offering exclusive discounts and finisher memorabilia such as custom buckles or shirts.
Join a community of like-minded trail enthusiasts supported by dedicated volunteers and enjoy access to special perks including entry into the Pegasus Hall of Fame and invitations to secret races. The RUDUM on September 4, 2027, promises an unforgettable ultra running experience in Wales' stunning natural settings.
