Ratschings Mountain Trail 2027

Nestled in the scenic Austrian Alps, the Ratschings Mountain Trails offers runners an unforgettable journey through breathtaking terrain and challenging routes. The centerpiece of this trail running festival is the Sky Trail, stretching 27 kilometers with over 1600 meters of elevation gain and more than 1050 meters of descent. This route tests even the most seasoned athletes as they navigate rugged paths and conquer the Jaufenpass.
For those seeking a less daunting challenge while still enjoying the beauty of Ratschings, the Mountain Trail offers an ideal option at 17.7 kilometers with nearly 950 meters of elevation gain. Suitable for runners who are prepared but not necessarily elite athletes, this course provides opportunities to measure oneself against others in a supportive and competitive environment.
The event also caters to team enthusiasts through its relay format, the Mountain Trail Staffel. Teams can tackle either an 8-kilometer or a 9.7-kilometer segment of the main route, fostering camaraderie as they prepare together for this unique challenge.
Participants in all categories will experience stunning alpine vistas and varied terrain that includes both steep ascents and technical descents. The race is designed to celebrate not only athletic prowess but also respect for nature and environmental conservation. With strict adherence to rules regarding equipment, health requirements, and team guidelines, the Ratschings Mountain Trails ensures a safe and enjoyable experience for all runners.
Whether you're an individual looking to push your limits or part of a group aiming to bond over shared goals, this event promises an immersive adventure in one of Europe's most picturesque landscapes.
