RABY CASTLE TRAIL RUNS

Immerse yourself in the stunning beauty of Raby Castle for the 2027 trail running event on September 5. Nestled within one of England's finest medieval castles, this elegant venue offers over 200 acres of enchanting parkland and gardens, perfect for runners looking to explore a mix of firm paths, woodland trails, and grass sections.
The castle’s approach is particularly magical, with its towering structures emerging from the lush greenery. The course features gentle undulations suitable for all abilities, providing a scenic backdrop at every turn.
Choose between 5km, 10km, or half marathon distances, each starting promptly in the morning with live chip-timing provided by Timing Up North to ensure accurate results. All finishers will receive a medal and wild deer merchandise as well as refreshments upon completion of their run. For an additional £14, runners can opt for a bespoke event t-shirt.
Parking is free on-site, making it easy for participants to enjoy the full experience without worrying about transportation logistics. Join us at Raby Castle for a truly unique trail running adventure in one of the North East’s most historic and beautiful estates.
