About the Event

Georgetown waterfront. The Chesapeake & Ohio Canal towpath. Flat, fast, and scenic. The PUSO 5k & 10k returns to Washington, DC, on Saturday, June 20, 2026, starting at 4940 Canal Rd NW — in the heart of Georgetown, near the Nation's Capital. Both events run on the historic C&O Canal path, following the Potomac River. Walkers are welcome. Chip timed.

Start: 7:45 AM • Shorter loop on the same scenic path • Great for beginners

Course Details:

Start/finish near the Potomac Boat Club, Georgetown
Runs on the C&O Canal National Historical Park towpath — packed gravel, flat, shaded
Views of the Potomac River, Key Bridge, and historic canal boats (seasonal)
No traffic — closed to vehicles, but shared with walkers and cyclists (be courteous)

No dogs allowed on race course (service animals excepted)
