About the Event

The Prevox Startbaanloop takes place on the athletics track at AV Startbaan in Amstelveen, offering runners three distances to choose from: 1 kilometer (suitable for youth), 3 kilometers, and 5 kilometers. Participants can expect a smooth start near the race administration office across from the track, with finishes just steps away from the kantine.
The event features electronic timing systems that record lap times and final results accurately. For those looking to warm up or freshen up after their run, changing rooms and showers are available on-site. Spectators are welcome to cheer runners on during this non-competitive test race where there are no prizes awarded.
Registration is possible in advance through inschrijven.nl until October 31, 2026, and walk-up registration opens at the kantine starting from 9:15 AM on race day. Entry fees for adults running either the 3 or 5 kilometers include a refreshment such as coffee or tea (€4 per person), while youth participating in the 1-kilometer event receive a Capri-sun and certificate along with their €2 entry fee.
Amstelveen is easily accessible by bike, public transport, or car. For those driving, additional parking on grass fields within the facility grounds can be utilized if the main lot fills up; simply follow signs at the entrance for guidance.
Join the Prevox Startbaanloop to experience a well-organized race in an inviting atmosphere with scenic track views and supportive crowds cheering you every step of the way.
