About the Event

Sheltered waters. Barn Pool Beach. Mount Edgcumbe Country Park. The Plymouth Swim returns on Sunday, June 14, 2026, with three distances: 750 m (1 lap), 1500 m (2 laps), and 3 km (4 laps). All distances use the same 750 m lap — longer courses risk pulling swimmers into the strong current further out from the beach. Start time: 9:00 AM. Registration opens at 7:30 AM.

Cremyll Ferry from King William Yard to Mount Edgcumbe — extra ferries running in the morning

Kit Requirements:

Swimsuit and goggles. Wetsuits not required but highly recommended for first‑time open water swimmers (warmth and buoyancy). Short or armless wetsuits permitted.
