Place to Place TT

On October 3, 2026, the Fenland Clarion CC invites members and guests to participate in an exclusive time trial cycling event. The race is open exclusively to club members and their second claim riders, with preference given to those who are part of the Fenland Clarion community.
The course begins at a strategic point opposite the water tower on an unclassified road between Southwick and Glapthorn, near Oundle in Northamptonshire. Riders will start one minute apart from each other, ensuring a smooth flow along the 5.8-mile route that has been meticulously mapped out by Strava.
The course is challenging yet scenic, winding through picturesque countryside as riders head south towards Glapthorn and Cotterstock. The journey includes turns at key crossroads marked on the map (M), passing notable landmarks such as Perio Mill along the right-hand side of the road. Riders will navigate a series of left turns leading to Woodnewton before heading back towards Southwick, where they'll pass by Southwick Hall and complete their first lap.
The event consists of three laps in total, with riders returning to the finish line at the water tower after covering 17.7 miles. The route is designed to test cyclists' endurance and speed over varied terrain, providing a unique challenge for both seasoned competitors and newcomers who are eager to experience the thrill of time trial racing.
