Pickleball for Hospice
About the event
On December 6, 2026, gather at Chatham-Kent Hospice for the Pickleball for Hospice Holiday Classic. This festive tournament invites players of all skill levels to support end-of-life care with competitive fun and community spirit. Registration fees are $50 plus RaceRoster charges.
The day kicks off from 9:30 a.m. to 12 p.m., featuring an introductory lesson for beginners, complete with provided paddles and on-site monitors ready to assist newcomers through their first matches. Intermediate players then take the court from noon until 4 p.m., divided into two sessions where teams compete in round-robin formats.
Each division accommodates twelve men's, women's, or mixed doubles teams, ensuring friendly competition across all levels of play. Matches are quick and exciting, lasting up to fifteen points or twenty minutes per game without a final showdown—just plenty of action-packed games, warm memories, and good company. The Chatham Kent Pickleball Club will oversee the event, making sure everything runs smoothly.
Secure your spot early by signing up now; space is limited for this heartwarming charity tournament where every rally counts towards raising essential funds for hospice care.
